Free-Standing Timber Patio Cover

This project involved the design and construction of a custom free-standing patio cover in a remote mountain area near Snoqualmie, WA. The goal was to create a durable, visually appealing structure that complements the natural surroundings and provides year-round outdoor shelter. The process began with detailed layout planning and precise timber post setting. Heavy-duty metal hardware was used to secure the trusses and beams, ensuring long-term structural integrity. Each connection was reinforced with custom steel brackets for added strength and resistance to the elements. Our team worked efficiently and completed the build ahead of schedule, despite the challenging terrain and weather. The result is a beautiful, handcrafted timber-frame patio cover that blends perfectly with the landscape and offers both shade and protection.
